Operators who build.
Acalanes Partners helps mid-market leadership teams govern AI, invest in it wisely, and put it to work.
Who we are
AI is changing fast, both in its capabilities and presence in the software we use today. We started Acalanes Partners to help our clients stay informed and capable when managing this emergent technology. We lead with governance and strategy, and we bring the technical team to build once the foundation is in place.
Our partners have held C-suite roles and built technology products. We sit comfortably in a board meeting and in a system configuration, and every engagement gets both.
How we work
- Audit and understand.
Hold conversations and activate surveys to understand how your employees engage with AI.
- Establish governance and acceptable use.
Develop the guardrails and policies needed to protect your company and employees.
- Build in your tools.
No new platform, no parallel systems.
- Leave an owner behind.
Every process has a named owner and review cycle.
- Protect your material.
Client and company data stays in business-tier AI tools that prohibit training on it, in segregated workspaces. We never use your material to train any model.
Leadership
Christina Seelye has spent more than 20 years leading technology companies through major industry shifts, and she sees AI as the biggest one yet. A serial founder and five-time CEO, she has served as chair or director on the boards of private and publicly traded companies in the United States and Europe. She's led post-acquisition integrations across seven entities on three continents, set board governance guidelines, and managed complex digital and financial transformations. An operator and a strategist, Christina brings real-world experience to every client engagement.
Where the name comes from
Acalanes takes its name from Cañada de los Acalanes, the hills east of Lafayette, California, in the San Francisco Bay Area. We work with leadership teams across North America.
